An interesting BBC documentary on Ajahn Chah and on being mindful in all that we say, think and do. Ajahn Chah explains the Buddhist way of life beautifully here.
Sometimes with all the distractions and problems that we face, it is always good to come to an anchor point where we can always find that state of equilibrium. No matter what your religion background is, seek your consolation and strength in that and you will never feel like you are alone.
Stop clinging and giving in to short term things such as desire or any other wants, It will not bring you happiness or peacefulness. Ajahn Chah talks about mindfulness and acceptance in all that happens. Haven’t you noticed before that the more one wants something, the more it eludes us and breaks us down.
Letting go is never an easy process, because as humans, we always desire and want more. but we can help ourselves in this process by learning to let go instead of holding on to all the pain and anguish that comes as a result of one’s desire.
